Anders-libraries
Lestijärvi library is part of Anders library network, which includes also the libraries of Halsua, Kannus, Kaustinen, Kokkola, Lestijärvi and Toholampi. You can access the book collections of all the Anders libraries with your library card. Anders libraries also has a shared online library., where you can check the availability of books and make reservations or renew the reservations for books. The webpage has articles you can read and book recommendations.
Loaning books from Lestijärvi and other Anders libraries is free and you can order the books from other libraries to Lestijärvi library for pick up. The books loaned from Anders libraries can be returned to any Anders library.

Anders rules
Library card
You can get a library can by informing your personal information and permanent address. Persons under 15 yers old need a parents consent. You must be able to prove your identity and the library must always be shown when loaning form the library.
The library card gives you the right to loan from any Anders library. A registered customer can use also Kela card or drivers licence for loaning. In this case, you need to give your social security number.
Customers responsibility
The customer is responsible for his/her library card and the material being loaned from the library. If the library card goes missing or your contact information changes, you need to inform the library of the changes. If the material is damaged, unreturned or the payments are late, the customer will lose the right to loan from the library. The right to loan will be lost if the payments due are more than 10€..
Loaning times
The newest issue of the magazines are not available for loan but you can read them in the library. Loans can be renewed if there are no other reservations made. The loans can be renewed in the library, by email or in the Anders online library.
